Here's to the last day of the holidays, where Sydney has graciously rewarded us with sweltering temperatures that induce us to the freedoms of summer, only to take away this illusion tomorrow. That is the freedom, not the heat.
White pants are always tricky, and this pair is no different, but there is something that makes them worth the caution. They basically double as pyjama pants! The material is so incredibly soft and comfortable that it feels like you're not even wearing anything (revealing but true). Even so I can guarantee you during these shots, the phrase 'are my pants dirty' went through my head more times than I can count. To me this outfit is a two way street, up top it's not the most comfortable or conventional but down below it's a whole other story.
This outfit is a dedication to these adidas sneakers, which took a few months of searching and patience to finally get. Although I love them, I still can't say I'm a converted sneakers girl. There's just something about the height that you get from heels that makes every short person smile.
Also quick mention to the location of this shoot, Cockatoo Island has some of the best industrial scenes and backdrops in one easy spot. Going on a sunny day is amazing because there's enough light filtered into these spaces that lights up the place without the awkward harsh light of direct sun. No mornings and afternoons or scouring for that perfect spot in the shade required. And as always...
