Say hello to yet another day in what Sydney's weather has now become, cloudy, humid and with the looming chance of a storm. Against all this, today was an amazing day, the morning starting out with meeting up with the loser Kate and heading off to Glebe markets after some 'difficulties.' And what a joy the markets were today, by far the best I have to say, with MinkPink Bargins lining so many stores. Managing to both grab a few treasures from MinkPink and American Apparel (!!!) we headed back off towards Newtown, eyes set on lunch. Sadhana Kitchen in all its raw vegan glory called today and after taking a walk while we waited for seats we were set for some taste-bud tingling foods. To wrap up today in a few words would be, sweaty, tiring but ultimately amazing time spent with a good friend, food and shopping.

Also how amazing is the butterfly detail skirt! It's so delicate and different, I'm in love. And can you
believe how close the end of these holidays are looming?

Transcendent Blues

Hello and congratulations if you made it all the way down here! There were actually so many more photos I would have loved to have shared but obviously even this amount is pushing it a bit. The last week of 2014 was spent in New Zealand with my family and unfortunately and fortunately on one of those Chinese tour groups. Rolling hills, stretches of breathtaking mountains and water so blue it couldn't be real filled the scenery for days on end. Every morning was spent waking up to gorgeous sunrises upon backdrops of lakes and mountains and every bus ride filled with endless stretches of greenery and sheep. A beautiful emptiness plagued much of the country when compared with home and so many new adventures were on offer. Managing to climb 'the steepest street in the world' was definitely an achievement and a great way to end the year. Unfortunately time ran out and it was back to Sydney and reality. I am completely certain that someday in the future I will return and not only see these dreamy landscapes again but get to experience everything I missed.

That's been me for now and I haven't had to chance to say, but I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and an amazing new year.
